| Why did you get involved in Frisbee? |
| Kayleigh loved to play frisbee as
a pup. We went to the Furry Scurry one day and met Dareel (I think
that's who we talked to) and learned about the club. We entered the
1999 Quadraped (first event ever) and took 4th place in the women's
division. We then started to compete in 2000.

| What do you and your dog love most about Frisbee? |
| We love to learn new tricks. I watch everyone's tricks |
|
during competition and see which ones I think Kayleigh and I can do. We even come up with some of our
own (my boyfriend once got very excited because he thought up a "new"
trick to teach Kayleigh. She got it on the first try and he was very
happy. I didn't have the heart to tell him it's already been done).
Our goal is to create tricks which have never been done. Luckily, once
Kayleigh decides she likes a trick, she'll do it over and over again!
Unfortunately, some of them she hates and refuses to do.

| |
| What is your best Frisbee moment? |
| Winning the beginner open in Breckenridge.
Although we did not have a stellar routine, Kayleigh caught almost all
of the frisbees and it gave me some courage to go into Open.

|
| Do you have a most embarrassing Frisbee moment? |
| Gee...I have a lot of those. How
about the many times Kayleigh refused the frisbee and all the times she
went to visit Bandit. I wouldn't necessarily call them
embarrassing -- more like lessons learned and new skills to teach.

|
| Any other activities? |
Non-dog related: Ultimate frisbee
Dog-related: Hiking, traveling (Kayleigh's been to 26 states), and
climbing fourteeners (Kayleigh has summited 10 -- the first one at 6
months of age)

| What are your Team's favorite tricks or treats? |
| Fav trick -- over the body vault and spin; Fav

|
|
| Have a fun fact or story about your team? |
| See Other activities/sports. I
would also like to add how I acquired Kayleigh. Kayleigh was bought
for me by my friend Bill. She was lucky because she originally was
adopted by another person, chained to a dog house in their backyard
and then returned the next day -- an hour before my friend arrived -- because
she whined too much. Well, she still likes to whine (moo as we call
it), but she spends her evenings curled up on the couch or stretched
out on my king size bed.
