July 9th, 2005
  Breckenridge, CO - Carter Park - 10:00am

The Colorado Disc Dogs are proud to present the 6th Annual Breckenridge Frisbee Dog Contest. This fun filled event is open to any frisbee catching dog -- even those who might not be very good! The event is a UFO World Cup Local, and a Colorado State Championship series event, so many great teams will be on hand to entertain. But the event also features 2 Beginner divisions! Novice Throw and Catch, and Beginner Freestyle!!

Entry fees:
Novice/Junior - $5 per dog
Intermediate - $7 per dog
Open - $10 per dog
**All entries receive a frisbee disc**

Novice and Intermediate will do UFO Throw & Catch. Depending on number of entries, teams may do a second round. If more than 15 teams enter the Novice or Intermediate divisions, the finals will cut to the top 10. Opens will do a 2 minute Freestyle and Throw & Catch.

Beginner Freestyle: It is a Breckenridge tradition that the event offers a special freestyle division just for teams that have never tried it before. There is no limit to who can enter, as long as they have never done freestyle before. There is no entry fee for this round. Teams may take 60 or 90 seconds. Teams do not have to enter any other division, and this score does not get added to any other score for final standings. There are no Colorado Cup points on the line.

Junior Division -- same as Novice Throw & Catch. One round.

It is recommended that you bring a leash and water for your dog. Event is free to watch, and expected to last 4-5 hours. All non-aggressive spectating dogs are welcome. Please be a responsible dog owner. For more information, please call Chris at 720-980-3472.
