  Registration begins at 9:00am.

This is a stop on the UFO World Cup Circuit and will be run using UFO rules.

Entry fees are as follows:
$5 - Novice
$7 - Intermediate
$10 - Open

There will be 3 Divisions at this event -- Novice, Intermediate, and Open. Besides the description here, the staff at the event will gladly answer any questions regarding format or which division you and your dog should enter.

The Novice Division is for teams brand new to the sport. If you've never competed or have been competing for less than a year, this is the division for you! Novice competitors will compete in two rounds of Throw & Catch, getting 60 seconds in each round to make as many throws for their dog as possible. Points are awarded for catches based on length of throw (from 15 up to 35+ meters) and whether the dog was in the air at the time of the catch. Please see the official UFO Rules for more details. Upon registration, all competitors will receive a free Wham-O Fastback Frisbee disc supplied by the UFO. Novice competitors may then use this disc or most any other safe disc in competition, including floppies.

The Intermediate Division is for experienced teams who have been involved in the sport for more than a year (365 days), but are not ready for the Open Division yet. Intermediate competitors will compete in the same Throw & Catch format mentioned above. Upon registration, all competitors will receive a free Wham-O Fastback Frisbee disc supplied by the UFO. Intermediate competitors must use a Wham-O Fastback Frisbee disc or Hyperflite K-10 disc in competition.

The Open Division is for the most experienced teams and consists of one 120 second round of Freestyle, and one 60 second round of Throw & Catch. Freestyle consists of a choreographed routine with your dog set to music, utilizing multiple discs and any and every type of throw and trick you can think of. This is where you routinely see vaults off the back, flips, spins, jumps, rolls, weaves, and many other amazing moves. Please see the official rules here. New Freestylers are always welcome, so if you think you can put on a good show, please don't hesitate to give it a try! Open competitors will receive one Wham-O Fastback Frisbee disc upon registration, but are required to supply the rest of the K-10 or Fastback discs they use in their routine. UFO rules allow up to 7 discs to be used in a routine.

For those planning to stay awhile, make sure to bring sunscreen, water, chairs, and possibly some shade! Popup tents and sunshades are welcome and recommended.

Please call Chris at 720-980-3472 if you have any additional questions.
